You are a common man who has lost everything to the Roman empire: your family, your friends, your home and your land. Having escaped slavery, you roam the streets of Rome wondering why the gods spared you, until fate finally reveals itself in the sands of the colosseum.
Inspired by classic beat 'em ups like Streets of Rage, Double Dragon and Golden Axe, Story of a Gladiator throws you into 36 battles across 3 arenas against over 80 gladiators, 20 animals and 3 bosses. Learn new moves, win the crowd, pray to the gods, train your own tiger and choose your origin from Greece, Carthage or Egypt. Die with honor!
